Bone Grafting

     972-241-4433

When a patient’s mouth lacks bone as well as teeth, bone grafting, or the addition of bone, is required before an implant can be placed. Bone grafts come from a specific part of the body (autogenous bone), tissue banks (allografts), or synthetically (alloplast). We place

the graft into the area of your jaw that requires more bone tissue, and your body will accept the graft and replace it with the bodies own natural bone and eventually dissolve the graft material. Once the bone is matura, Dr.Haghiri can proceed with implant placement.
